For the past several years, my best friend and I have had a running Christmas tradition where we review the highs and lows of the year gone past and then gift each other with a calendar for the upcoming new year with renewed hopes. With the weather continuously hovering around a sunny 80 degrees, I've been finding it hard to get into the holiday spirit here in Nairobi.
