It was a month long ordeal but the couch we ordered and assembled back in September finally has a home -and so do we!!! While the place is still very much a work in progress, it's slowly starting to feel more like home and less like a construction site. A missing mirror installed Monday. A faulty door fixed yesterday. Towel rods and toilet roll holders went in today. Cleaning floors and moving in furniture of course go a long way too. But most of all, its the little personal touches that really make me feel like we are "marking our territory" and claiming more of the house as our home. So our bare bones couch desperately needs cushions, and I see yet another way for us to make our mark on the blank canvas that surrounds us. Here are some ideas that have me excited...
