Window Shopping

Before we left Korea, we were fortunate to be able to put up a Christmas tree with my parents.  For as long as I can remember, my mother has been collecting at least one Hallmark Keepsake Ornament every year.  Even after our family moved from the States to Korea over 17 years ago, we've managed to keep up the tradition and now she has a pretty amazing collection.  As each ornament is dated, it was fun to admire each one and to reminisce about years gone past as we hung them on the tree.  While many Kenyans do celebrate Christmas, I haven't seen too many Christmas trees being sold.  Luckily we were able to pick up this little flat packable wooden number in Korea before returning to Nairobi.

Someday when we return to the States, we'll have a real tree of our own to decorate.  Until then, here are some of the ornaments I'm dreaming of decorating it with.

1.) Rebuilding Together Ornaments from Crate and Barrel
2.) DIY Paper Decorations from Sky Goodies on Etsy
3.) Blue Robins Eggs by Fairyfolk on Etsy
4.) Sisal Bird Ornaments from West Elm
